1. Who we are

IN-BETWEEN is a travel planning and travel companion application operated by Tunç Akat. Questions about this Privacy Policy or privacy-related requests can be sent to support@in-between.app.

2. Information IN-BETWEEN may process

The information processed depends on the features you choose to use. It may include:

• Trip information such as destination, travel dates, hotel details, fixed plans, reservations, activities and itinerary preferences.
• Travel preferences such as pace, interests and other Travel DNA choices used to personalize planning.
• Location information when you grant location permission, so relevant nearby travel context and recommendations can be provided.
• Calendar information when you explicitly enable calendar access, so travel planning can work around relevant commitments.
• Weather and destination context used to improve timing and travel recommendations.
• Purchase and subscription status needed to determine access to IN-BETWEEN Premium. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store; IN-BETWEEN does not receive your full payment-card details.
• Technical information that may be necessary to operate, secure and troubleshoot the app, such as app state, device/platform information and diagnostic information where applicable.

3. How information is used

Information is used to provide and improve the features you request, including creating and adapting itineraries, calculating useful travel windows, personalizing recommendations, supporting Travel Autopilot, maintaining Premium access, responding to support requests, and protecting the reliability and security of the service.

4. Permissions and your choices

You control device permissions through iOS. You may decline or later disable optional permissions such as Location or Calendar in your device settings. Some contextual features may be limited when the corresponding permission is unavailable.

5. Purchases

IN-BETWEEN Premium may be offered through auto-renewable subscriptions. App Store purchases, billing, renewals and payment credentials are handled by Apple under Apple's applicable terms and privacy practices. The app may receive information necessary to determine whether a subscription entitlement is active and to restore eligible purchases.

6. Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by service providers only where reasonably necessary to operate requested functionality, such as platform, mapping/location, weather, data storage or similar technical services used by the app. IN-BETWEEN does not sell your personal information.

7. Data retention and deletion

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to technical, legal and security requirements. Where information is stored locally on your device, removing app data or deleting the app may remove that local information. You may contact us at support@in-between.app regarding applicable access or deletion requests.

8. International processing

Some technical service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable, appropriate safeguards are used in accordance with relevant data-protection requirements.

9. Children

IN-BETWEEN is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where parental consent would be legally required. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, please contact us.

10. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information. No method of electronic storage or transmission can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as IN-BETWEEN evolves or legal and operational requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
